Author visit from Jasbinder Bilan
Today, Year 5 and Year 6 were visited by the wonderful Jasbinder Bilan. She told us all about what inspired her to become an author, including her pet monkey, Omar. She also read an extract from her new story ‘Nush and the Stolen Emerald‘ and we can’t wait to finish reading it in class.

The Children’s Bookshow with Ele Fountain
Class 8 really enjoyed their trip to see the author, Ele Fountain as part of ‘The Children’s Bookshow’, at The Bloomsbury Theatre, on Friday 29th September. Ele was a great speaker, and got the audience involved in a quiz. Everybody got excited, trying to work out the correct answers! Ele lived in Addis Ababa for several years,
