In Year 3, we have started our maths learning by consolidating our understanding of place value in 2- and 3-digit numbers. We have been unpicking what a number is; identifying the value of each digit in 2- and 3-digit numbers; comparing and ordering them; adding and subtracting 1, 10 and 100 to and from 3-digit numbers and adding using place value.
