Mike Askew and the mathematics lesson study
Year 5 children take part in the Mike Askew research project lesson study. They were exploring how many different quadrilaterals they could create with a perimeter of 36m. They then found the areas to see if there was any relationship between them. Their final challenge was to find a shape with the same area as perimeter.
